The new MFD900 is the successor of the proven highly industrial MFD800

The system is based on very reliable hardware which runs independent from the controlling PC software but has the same features that PC operated systems have.

THE ONLY MULTICHANNEL ULTRASONIC TESTER THAT KEEPS WORKING IN-LINE WHILE THE PC IS SHUT OFF

Specifications in short:
- 20 channels in one mainframe . 10 main channels in parallel each with dual channel.
- 20 KHz prf per channel
- 5 flaw gates and one thickness meter per channel. 2 digital outputs per channel combining any gate.
- Each thickness meter with 2 analog outputs of water and material thickness
- TCG on each channel
- High speed parameter control
- Powerfull square wave pulsers

Channels can be fired simultaneously or according to a predefined scheme through the use of a user programmable scan table.
Each channel can operate independently but all channels share the same puls repetition frequency.
Dual pulser receivers are used durig weld inspection , allowing pulse echo as well as through transmission.
Each set of channel hardware has 6 gates, each with its own peak detctor .  Four gates are used as flaw gates, gate 5 is the backwall monitor gate if required but can also be used as flaw gate. Gate 6 captures the surface echo to enable surface following trigger modes for the gates and gain correction curve.(TGC)

A backwall follower is now available  as well.

Each gate has a selective gain control to attenuate or amplify the signal within that gate.
