The ITH-series of portable Rockwell and Brinell hardnessmeters are a new concept testers working exactly following the original principle of Rockwell and Brinell.

The advantage of this portable system is the immunity for vibration of the testobject which is often a problem with the many different Leeb meters ( rebouncing probe) and the lower demand for very smooth surface.
Rockwell meters work with 10Kg initial force and testforces of 60,100 and 150 Kg. with a 120 degree diamond cone and also  1,58 mm , 2,5 mm and 5 mm balls.
Brinel meters work with 62,5-125-187,5 Kg force. Testconditions: HB30, HB10 HB5 and HB2,5
The lightest meter weighs only 0,7 Kg.
