 Same as Hartip 1000 but with different scales
De Hartip 1500 and 3000 work on the widely used principle for field testers. It is based on the Leeb system which measures and compares the rebouncing speed of a spring loaded probe from the material surface. The speed difference between initial and rebouncing probe is converted into different scales as Rockwell B en C, Brinel, Vickers en Shore and a variety of materials.
The accuracy can be high provided the testconditions are taken into consideration.
